Initiated by our City Quest vision, a team of Destiny volunteers reached out to families at the Lantana Apartments just about one mile from Destiny Church. This outreach included music, a Christmas message, testimonies, drama, food, and gifts for the children. Our prayer was that many would experience the saving knowledge and power of Jesus Christ and be added to a local church.The team led by Mike Ybarra ministered in an excellent way and we did see many come to know Christ. In fact, a family from the complex has seen Jesus save their marriage and family. It's been a joy seeing them attend Destiny recently and growing in their faith.
