We had an overwhelming turnout at the Family Fall Festival this year with over 400 people from Destiny and the community. It was all about celebrating the provision of God in the fall season. This is the time to be thankful, right! We had all sorts of games and food as you'll see from the pictures, which totally thrilled the children and grown ups. It brought everyone a lot of joy to see the kids in their costumes and the smiles on their faces. Our prayer is that each one felt the love of Jesus and discovered the fun of being in the family of God. A special thanks to our faithful volunteers for giving, serving, and making this event possible. We appreciate everyone who participated. PHOTOS

Water Baptisms August 2011
On August 7th several children from Destiny Kids were water baptized. Reagan, Kiersten, Samuel, and Sara have been anticipating being baptized since PandaMania VBS back in June. It was neat to see two sets of twins take this step of obedience to Jesus at the same time. I love some of the things they said when I asked them why they wanted to be baptized. "I want to be with God forever", "I want to walk in faith with Christ", "Water baptism means I'm buried with Christ, I died with Christ, and I'm risen with Christ". I think they got it! PHOTOSPandaMania VBS 2011
PandaMania was a total blast! This was our best turnout ever with over 200 kids every day. God's Word transformed each heart through worship, scripture, lessons, movies, games, snacks, and crafts. Salvation day was a high point as nearly every child accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Over $350 was raised for world missions and was given to Stephen Tolman in San Pedro, Mexico to help construct their new church building. It was especially moving to hear the children sing spontaneous worship songs to Jesus. We are raising up a new generation of prophetic worshipers. Thank you Destiny members, parents, and volunteers for making PandaMania a reality. God was glorified! PHOTOSEaster Egg Hunt 2011
We had over 300 hundred people at our Easter Egg Hunt in April 2011. It was exhilarating to see the children play games, smash the pinata, and hunt for eggs. The highlight, above all, was the opportunity to share the true meaning of Easter, the gospel of Jesus Christ. We used the story of Adam and Eve as well as Jesus' life, death, and resurrection. Many children and adults responded in faith to Jesus who conquered sin once and for all. Thanks to all the volunteers who made this event a success. PHOTOS
"The Journey" Easter Play 2011
To see children and adults acting out the life of Jesus was breathtaking. With the vision and leadership of Steve and Lydia Huerta the children performed outstanding. Over 10 people were born again and many others responded for healing from the risen Jesus. Thank you volunteers and parents for making this one of our best ever Easter plays. PHOTOS
"LifeShare - Knowing your heavenly Father desires you"
Have you ever questioned your heavenly Fathers desire for you? Are your current trials causing you to question His love, promises, and faithfulness? Don't let your lack fool you into believing that God's abandoned you. If you do, your decisions will be rooted in fear and not faith. For God longs for you to ask Him for help. Be encouraged by the words you hear and the truth that your heavenly Father always intended you to live in abundance. His dream and desire for you goes way way back before the beginning of the world.
Message presented by Ted Thevaos, Children's and Connect Pastor, on Sunday 4/10/2011.
Christmas at Destiny 2010

Christmas at Destiny is our annual Sunday morning Christmas presentation. The children and adults did an outstanding job of telling the timeless story of Jesus' birth and salvation. A modern day story of a grumpy old man, played by Gary Brown, brought the action closer to home as everyone was able to look within to see what they truly believe about Jesus. Thank you children, parents, and adults for sharing this special day with everyone. PHOTOS
Thanksgiving Play 2010

The children were adorable as they told the American story of Thanksgiving. Indians, Pilgrims, Mayflower and all. Steve and Lydia Huerta, our Destiny Kids drama leaders, brought out the best in the kids. PHOTOS
